Details of modified 2008 BMW 135
– Will the wheels 17x8.5 38 offset with P 245/40 R17 tires fit on a 2008 BMW 135?
– Yes, they will fit. As you can see from the pics this 2008 BMW 135 is running BBS CH 17x8.5 with 6.25” backspacing and Nitto NT01 P 245/40 R17 tires.
Suspension/Fender Mods/Camber:
Front and rear has pretty aggressive rolling, and the tab in the front wheel well attaching the bumper cover to the fender is trimmed. I'm running -2.0 deg camber in front and rear (fixed -2 deg. camber plates from Impact Engineering in San Jose)
KW Variant V3 dampers and lowered about as much as possible
Notes:
perhaps slight rubbing during racing
Additional Note: for the pictures below, we modified the custom camber plates to give us -3.5 degree of front camber

Definitions
Wheel Offset
Refers to how your car’s or truck’s wheels and tires are mounted and sit in the wheel wells.
– Zero wheel offset is when the hub mounting surface is in line with the centerline of the wheel.
– Positive wheel offset is when the hub mounting surface is in front (more toward the street side) of the centerline of the wheel. Most wheels on front-wheel drive cars and newer rear-drive vehicles have positive offset.
– Negative offset is when the hub mounting surface is behind the wheel centerline. “Deep dish” wheels are typically a negative offset.
