Details of modified 2006 Honda Civic
– Will the wheels 18x8.0 40 offset with P 225/35 R18 tires fit on a 2006 Honda Civic?
– Yes, they will fit. As you can see from the pics this 2006 Honda Civic is running Konig Hotswaps 18x8.0 with 6.07” backspacing and Avon M500 P 225/35 R18 tires.
No rubbing at all. Smooth. It was 11C out today. The tires produce wheel hop - easy. I don't know if they'll improve with age or hotter temps or its that they are 35 s. If I can eliminate the wheel hop these 35 series WILL net a quicker et. These 35 s give it more lower end throttle response making you shift sooner than before in normal driving.

Definitions
Wheel Offset
Refers to how your car’s or truck’s wheels and tires are mounted and sit in the wheel wells.
– Zero wheel offset is when the hub mounting surface is in line with the centerline of the wheel.
– Positive wheel offset is when the hub mounting surface is in front (more toward the street side) of the centerline of the wheel. Most wheels on front-wheel drive cars and newer rear-drive vehicles have positive offset.
– Negative offset is when the hub mounting surface is behind the wheel centerline. “Deep dish” wheels are typically a negative offset.
