– Will the wheels 18x8.0 40 offset with P 225/40 R18 tires fit on a 2008 Honda Civic?
– Yes, they will fit. As you can see from the pics this 2008 Honda Civic is running Azul Speedmesh 18x8.0 with 6.07” backspacing and Nexen S5000 P 225/40 R18 tires.
Skunk 2 drop and SPC camber kit set at stock settings
It rubs pretty bad in the front on the slightest of bumps and I lost the plastic clips within a 1/2 after installation. I pushed the metal flanges that the clips went in up into the fender but it rubs the plastic very often. Oh well, it is just plastic. LOL The back rubbed the fenders on bumps and pulling into driveways so I had them rolled. Seems to be better now

Definitions
Wheel Offset
Refers to how your car’s or truck’s wheels and tires are mounted and sit in the wheel wells.
– Zero wheel offset is when the hub mounting surface is in line with the centerline of the wheel.
– Positive wheel offset is when the hub mounting surface is in front (more toward the street side) of the centerline of the wheel. Most wheels on front-wheel drive cars and newer rear-drive vehicles have positive offset.
– Negative offset is when the hub mounting surface is behind the wheel centerline. “Deep dish” wheels are typically a negative offset.
