Details of modified 2012 Kia Optima
– Will the wheels 18x8.0 48 offset with P 245/40 R18 tires fit on a 2012 Kia Optima?
– Yes, they will fit. As you can see from the pics this 2012 Kia Optima is running Kazera KZ-Q 18x8.0 with 6.39” backspacing and Sumitomo HTR ZIII P 245/40 R18 tires.
Backspacing: 6.37"
Bolt Pattern: 5-114
Weight: 20.4lbs.
Finish: Machined w/Black Accent
Construction: 1 PC. Low Pressure Cast / Shot Peened
The combined tire/wheel assembly weighs 3 pounds each less than the stock tire. I wanted Continental ExtremeContact DW tires, but this size appears to be on perpetual back order. The DWs would have saved an additional 3 lbs/wheel.

Definitions
Wheel Offset
Refers to how your car’s or truck’s wheels and tires are mounted and sit in the wheel wells.
– Zero wheel offset is when the hub mounting surface is in line with the centerline of the wheel.
– Positive wheel offset is when the hub mounting surface is in front (more toward the street side) of the centerline of the wheel. Most wheels on front-wheel drive cars and newer rear-drive vehicles have positive offset.
– Negative offset is when the hub mounting surface is behind the wheel centerline. “Deep dish” wheels are typically a negative offset.
