Details of modified 2011 MINI Cooper S
– Will the wheels 17x7.5 48 offset with P 225/45 R17 tires fit on a 2011 MINI Cooper S?
– Yes, they will fit. As you can see from the pics this 2011 MINI Cooper S is running Sparco Trofeo 5 17x7.5 with 6.14” backspacing and Michelin PSS P 225/45 R17 tires.
5mm spacers all around
Stock active suspension
I feel like the front end became more floaty after the wheels were installed. I can't believe that the extra ~1/2in in ride height could so drastically change the way the frond end behaves. Any ideas?

Wheel Offset
Refers to how your car’s or truck’s wheels and tires are mounted and sit in the wheel wells.
– Zero wheel offset is when the hub mounting surface is in line with the centerline of the wheel.
– Positive wheel offset is when the hub mounting surface is in front (more toward the street side) of the centerline of the wheel. Most wheels on front-wheel drive cars and newer rear-drive vehicles have positive offset.
– Negative offset is when the hub mounting surface is behind the wheel centerline. “Deep dish” wheels are typically a negative offset.
