– Will the wheels 17x8.0 36 offset with P 225/40 R17 tires fit on a 2013 Scion FR-S?
– Yes, they will fit. As you can see from the pics this 2013 Scion FR-S is running Kosei K4R 17x8.0 with 5.92” backspacing and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 91Y P 225/40 R17 tires.
stock suspension
I really like the "flush" look that these wheels provide. I didn't want to get too wide of a tire to avoid poke, especially in the front as I want to keep stock suspension/camber for the moment.
The offset is pretty insane. There is a crazy amount of clearance for BBKs (see pics below)

Definitions
Wheel Offset
Refers to how your car’s or truck’s wheels and tires are mounted and sit in the wheel wells.
– Zero wheel offset is when the hub mounting surface is in line with the centerline of the wheel.
– Positive wheel offset is when the hub mounting surface is in front (more toward the street side) of the centerline of the wheel. Most wheels on front-wheel drive cars and newer rear-drive vehicles have positive offset.
– Negative offset is when the hub mounting surface is behind the wheel centerline. “Deep dish” wheels are typically a negative offset.
