I switched out of stock 20s/Forterras basically because I wanted a little more unique look, tire that better fills up the wheel well, and was more of an AT that wouldn't get me a flat within 5 yards down a gravel road. Went with the Pirellis over the Cooper Zeons because they're a little quieter from what I could tell from reviews, for whatever it's really worth they've got a treadwear warranty whereas the Coopers do not, and were $200 cheaper or so.

Wheels were $800 shipped; tires, install, and a 255/70/18 spare were $1300.

First impressions ... I was a space cadet and didn't order hub rings (new wheels are 87MM vs 71.5 on the stockers) and consequently there is vibration at highway speed. The tire is actually quieter (for now) than the Forterras, especially at side road speed. It does want to wander a little on the highway and over uneven road in town, I expect a little tread squirm on a new tire and some of this comes from having no center rib, but this is something different -- hoping that between rings, adjusting the inflation (installers put them at 38PSI), and an alignment that will settle out ... otherwise it will bother me enough that I have to do something different.

Appearance wise, I'm digging it for the most part. I'd have loved it if these wheels came in a +45 and I like the look of the Coopers better -- Pirelli's look a little "balloon-ish" to me, great for preventing curb rash and I like more sidewall than the factory setup, but ... Anyway, enjoy:

Definitions

Wheel Offset

Refers to how your car’s or truck’s wheels and tires are mounted and sit in the wheel wells.

– Zero wheel offset is when the hub mounting surface is in line with the centerline of the wheel.
– Positive wheel offset is when the hub mounting surface is in front (more toward the street side) of the centerline of the wheel. Most wheels on front-wheel drive cars and newer rear-drive vehicles have positive offset.
– Negative offset is when the hub mounting surface is behind the wheel centerline. “Deep dish” wheels are typically a negative offset.
