Details of modified 2010 Toyota Prius
– Will the wheels 17x7.5 45 offset with P 215/50 R17 tires fit on a 2010 Toyota Prius?
– Yes, they will fit. As you can see from the pics this 2010 Toyota Prius is running Konig Feather 17x7.5 with 6.02” backspacing and Hankook Ventus V2 P 215/50 R17 tires.
Total weight of the combo on bathroom scale is 39lb. (vs. factory 15 and bald tire is about 28lb.) I chose this tire size which gives me exact speedo reading compare to gps readout and hopefully give me more realistic mpg numbers.

Definitions
Wheel Offset
Refers to how your car’s or truck’s wheels and tires are mounted and sit in the wheel wells.
– Zero wheel offset is when the hub mounting surface is in line with the centerline of the wheel.
– Positive wheel offset is when the hub mounting surface is in front (more toward the street side) of the centerline of the wheel. Most wheels on front-wheel drive cars and newer rear-drive vehicles have positive offset.
– Negative offset is when the hub mounting surface is behind the wheel centerline. “Deep dish” wheels are typically a negative offset.
